DEPOSIT RULES

Deposit rules for hotels are policies that outline the terms and conditions under which a hotel requires guests to deposit at the time of booking or check-in. These rules can vary based on the type of reservation, and the guest’s profile. Our deposit rules include:

1. 75 % Percentage of Total Cost before the booking date: We require a deposit that is a percentage of the total booking cost and this applies to new Accounts, 25% is to be paid during or after consumption

2. Full Prepayment: For certain reservations, especially during peak seasons or for special rates, we may require full prepayment at the time of booking.

3. Non-Refundable Deposits**: Deposits might be non-refundable, meaning that if a guest cancels the reservation, they will not get the deposit back. This is often used for special rates or promotions.

4. Advance Deposit for Group Bookings: For group bookings, we require a larger deposit ie 75% of the cost or advance payment to secure the reservation.

5. Credit Card Holds: Instead of a physical deposit, we may place a hold on the guest’s credit card for a certain amount. This amount is not charged unless there are damages or no-shows.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policies: Rules regarding the deposit’s refundability in case of cancellation, including any deadlines or conditions under which a deposit might be partially or fully refunded depending on the reservation type and peak seasons

These rules help the hotel to manage its financial risks and ensure that they are compensated for holding rooms for guests who might not show up. It’s essential for both hotels and guests to understand and agree on these terms at the time of booking.
